Engineer by qualification and innovator by passion, Nidhi Aggarwal wears many hats, and all of them with elan. She is the Founder of SpaceMantra, an online marketplace for the Built Environment. She is receiver of multiple awards including the ET Global Indian Leader 2022. She is a Women Achiever in Entrepreneurship by Realty+ and got ‘SpaceMantra’ The Most Promising Ecommerce Brand in Infrastructure Industry by Zee Digital.
Masters in International Business from Nottingham Trent University, U.K., and Gold Medalist in BE (Civil) from Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology, Patiala, Nidhi is an engineer with a vision. An A+ student all through her life, she was a scholarship holder in college. Thereafter, she pursued international business management. Her keen eye for detail and passion for learning new things, led her to earn a Diploma in Interior Designing, wherein she bagged the Best Student award and went up to lead numerous Build and Design residential and commercial projects thereafter. Continuing her passion for studying, she is undergoing Postgraduate certificate course in ‘Technology Leadership and Innovation’ from MIT xPro.
Not one to rest on her laurels, she joined her father’s import business to gain hands-on industry experience. The exposure enriched her experience, put her mettle to use and inspired her to co-create ‘Indo Innovations’, an umbrella brand for furniture and sports infra in association with her husband, Ashish Aggarwal. Fueled by her drive to address the pain points of the construction-linked industry, she co-founded SpaceMantra with the passion to create a niche product, unique to the construction and interior design industry with the exclusive aim to ease out the roadblocks and provide a consolidated platform.
With a rich industry experience of more than 20 years, Nidhi is constantly on the lookout to bring novelty to the Built enviorment. Her zeal to channelize modern innovation and technology to enhance the human experience, drives her to find solutions to simplify everyday needs. Mother of two boys, Nidhi is ready for her second innings with more than ever passion, dedication and time at hand.
